a 24hrs Los Angeles road trip...

4.20am, 23rd Aug 08...
the time we left Fremont, for a road trip to LA.
groggy yet excited (only 4hrs of sleep),
i chatted only because of adrenalin,
& the need to keep the driver awake.

4.20am, 24th Aug 08...
the time we reached back to Fremont, from LA.
groggy & exhausted, no more energy to be excited.
showered and concussed...

literally, a 24hrs Los Angeles Road trip.

This oil tycoon guy was too loaded; collected art & antiques from the Baroque era & beyond.

Stumbled onto this place by chance; i must say it's one the best stumble!

the patio sets a perfect ambience for relaxing meal & great conversation,

with tall trees with extended branches that form a nice little canopy overhead.

kudos to technology for helping me brew the heartbeat of life.

and the heartbeat itself... the aromatic coffee beans! :)

this time round, I have chosen the Seattle's Best Coffee French Roast (dark dark roast, yeaaa) for its social and environmental qualities.

touch down

after several hours of flight delay, & poor quality of sleep,
i finally reached my humble abode,
a pad where I will reside for the next 3mths or so.

after a couple of wrong turns, due to forgotten roads,
i managed to hit one of my fave shopping centre!
this place now has new outlets like Victoria's Secret & Gap... ;)
(pssss husky, are your eyes wide open yet? unleash your shopping powers!!! )

and immediately i bought myself stuffs.
and immediately i declare i will be buying much more.

apart from that, great hits are now on FM 96.5;
it does feel so much relaxing with music in the air while going on with my own things.
(kinda Zen, but not that Zen)

too bad that i am really tired from the flight.
and now is a suitable time to slumber (~1130pm), to allow my body clock to adapt to the new place, in California.
