the sweet simple life

"if you workout sloppy, you will fight sloppy"
i overheard a guy telling his friend at the gym...

it's a case of cause and effect,
which sets me thinking...

if i want to get fitter & healthier, i can't be sloppy.
fitness & health doesn't come at the snap of a finger,
lots of conscious effort has to take place,
it's not just exercise, it's also about eating right...

now that's me talking about my new resolution,
you make your own goals and resolution, as i have mine :)

anyway on a different note,
here's a peek at my typical simple dinner...


a bowl of spinach salad topped with cashews, almonds, cranberries, & dried pineapple, and splashed with extra virgin olive oil and strawberry balsamic vinegar;

a slice of bread with sprinkles of flaxseed, topped with all-natural peanut butter and organic pepper jack cheese;

Cajun Salmon with black pepper, cayenne, paprika, oregano and thyme;

a finale of sweet yellow-fleshed peach, and cranberry juice to swirl down my throat...


hehe alright, it may not sound simple but the picture does show that it's a simple dinner right? i have my cooking secrets ;)
